Building a Fairer Economy
Emer has a B.A. in Economics and Sociology and works as a Senior Leader for a multinational based in West Dublin.
She is an advocate for local businesses and for women in business. As a member of the County's Economic Development and Tourism Strategic Policy Committee Emer collaborated with the Local Enterprise Office, South Dublin Chamber and many local businesses to deliver improvements in the local economy, attract investments and promote South Dublin as a great place to work and live.
She is a supporter of NEW, the local women in business network.
Emer held a Business Breakfast in Lucan recently, where she chaired a panel discussion on the theme of Diversity and Inclusion. Emer also ran Career Clinics right throughout the county offering people the chance to receive free advice from a Career Transition Coach, an up-skill trainer and employment rights specialist.
Emer believes that tackling the housing crisis is key to improving both our economic and social conditions.
